Why are these almonds so expensive?

I think it is a little ridicioulous (sp) that they are 5.99 for a pound. I did find them on ebay for chepaer but shipping is like 15 to 20 for almonds!!!

No clue - it's insane! I bought a bag from Michaels, just to taste and see if they were even good - I was so surprised that they were! So, if you're gonna buy them, make sure they taste good too! Then it may be worth the $$$.
