Jordan Almonds

I wanted to do my jordan almonds today. Does anyone know of a place to get them for a cheap price on Long island? I will need about 5 pounds of them.

got mine at wrap with us, which is a wedding warehouse right off LIE exit 43.

My grandma said she saw them, at CVS I think.

by the way - What is the tradition behind jordan almonds, and what are they used for?

It is an Italian tradition. I am wrapping 5 in tulle, and each almond stands for: health, wealth, happiness, longevity, and fertility.

I wonder if I should incorporate them into the wedding then... FH is 100% italian. Is it a very common, known, italian tradition... where his side of the family would appreciate it if we have them?

I picked them up the other day! They have ALOT o diff. candies and they are the cheapest price.

I wouldn't wrap them yet. Just in case you don't want them to get funky.

I wouldn't wrap them yet. Just in case you don't want them to get funky.

Do you think they would stay ok if I left them in the bag/box? Where should I store them???
