I just found on a random website that you're supposed to put 5 jordan almonds in each favor ... they said you should attach teh following poem:
Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat To remind us that life is both bitter and sweet. Five wishes for the new husband and wife -- Health, wealth, happiness, children, and a long life!
i think it's cute ... but i don't really know where i'd put the additional piece of paper (i already have an organza bag with almonds and a favor tag) ...
so two questions: 1. should i attach this poem somewhere? 2. where should i put it? (i can put it next to the favor tag, or inside the bag itself ... any other ideas?)
Thanks and i hope this helps someone else as well

Re: Jordan Almonds Poem...?!?!
I did not put the poem in/next to/ attached to my almonds. My DH is italian and his family knew the tradition without needing the saying. My family on the other hand in mostly german, so they just enjoyed the sweets and didn't need the saying
