Jovan Studio (Photography)

Hi Girls,

Need your help. Has anybody ever heard Jovan?
If so what are your thoughts. Pro's Con's.
I may book them for my wedding, and I would appreciate some feedback.

I had 2 friends use them. One LOVED them and one HATED them. No gray areas at all. I think it depends on the specific photographer you choose.

I'm pretty sure most of their photographers are independent contractors, so just make sure you know which one will be doing your wedding & you're happy with that one.

I had a friend use them and wasn't happy at all. Jovan is past their glory days.

I used them for my photo & video….
My photographer was great to work with and my pictures and album came out AMAZING!!! I love all my pictures…but my video – that’s an entirely different story – I would not recommend them for video at all.

I am still waiting on my proofs and RF video but that is because UPS has rescheduled my delievery date it should have been today

From our engagement photo session and the wedding day itself I would highly recommend them. They are great to work with.. (I actually had my one photographer that took the engagement photos that I had dealt with the whole planning process injury himself at another brides wedding the night prior to mine- so he did not make it) but by the time they told me this the other photographer had arrived at the venue, and honestly I really liked him... he was a little older and had the same ideas and was completely DL on my requests prior to getting there. I'm really excited to see my proof.

I had to say that the previous post now has me nervous for my video though

My best friend use Jovan and they were amazing!!! Her pics were beautiful and she had no problems whatsoever!!! Her brother also used them and had the same experience!!!

I wanted to use them- heands down, no questions. I thought finding a photographer would be the easiest part about planning a wedding and I was set on J o V o n. I obviously didn't go with them. FM me if you need more info.

UPDATE....

After looking at my RF for the video... I have to agree with a previous posting THUS far... I mean the final verdict will be the final edited video.

PHOTOS WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! highly recommended for photos.
Video.... undecided.... leaning towards not really recommended...
