JoVon....

anyone using them for their photography? I already have a photographer but was thinking of using him as a photojournalist....

They do both. they are NOT the most expensive. I didn't use them: a family memebr did.

Well, I don't know what 'not expensive' is to some people- I'm sure everyone has different levels of what 'pricey' is but to me- they are definitely UP there on the spectrum of low to high.

In any event- if you are looking for a photojournalistic photog I booked Gary Leli for that- he does both tradtional and photojournalism.

As for Jovon- I haven't really seen much of their work- I knew of a girl who used them and was satisfied- you could try calling and seeing what packages they offer for just photojournalism.

I wonder if it would be awkward having your photog and another photog together at the same time? Hmm, your current photog does not do PJ?

I am using them for photo & video....they do amazing work and yes they are $$$. They are our most expensive vendor besides RH.

I have a few friends who have used them and have been more than happy with their work. They have so far been great to work with.

My cousin used JoVon and had such beautiful shots! She had a huge variety of GORGEOUS traditional and photojournalistic! They aren't THE most expensive out there, but they aren't cheap either.

The pics I have on My Pics album are JoVon. They're scans of proofs so the quality didn't come that good. They were very good. My sister used them for her wedding (Jaques) and my other sister used them to photograph her children. price-wise, they didn't mention that it was the most expensive.
