Jovon Brides

What made you decide to book with them?
Are you using them for both photo and video?
Who is your photographer?

I have heard so many mixed reviews and I am very unsure of what to do....

The prices are high- but I am willing to spend the money if it is worth it! Ughhhhh....

One of our GM, Joe, is a photographer for them! I don't know much else Good luck!

really- we met with Telmo- he seemed great and we really clicked with him.

I am using Jovon and two of my friends used them- I am using Telmo and one of my girlfriends used him and the other used a photographer that is no longer there- I didnt care what other people said I went with my gut instinct and based upon what I saw- They do gorgeous work and are worth the money

Im not using them for video and neither did my two girlfriends- the prices for a video were a little high

We're using Matthew and our engagement shots came out awesome!!

My FSIL took modeling pictures with them a few years ago, and was very unhappy with the way they came out. They were a recommended vendor for our reception hall, but I liked the other photographers better. JMO

Where to start. I have not had a good experience with them. We had chosen Ralph as our photographer, and were very happy with our engagement shoots. The week of our wedding, they called and switched our photographer b/c Ralph had a family illness. I was upset, but understood. They threw in an extra photographer to make up for it. We ended up having Hy and Beth. While we have some beautiful photos, they were not the quality we expected. There was a lack of creativity - that's my biggest complaint. I wanted much more photojournalism than we got.

We were supposed to go do our album this past Saturday. They called on Wednesday to cancel b/c the guy we were supposed to meet with was sent out on a shoot. Overall, the customer service has been terrible. When we called to complain about the cancellation (we had made this appointment 3 months ago), we were told, 'well, that's what happens with Saturday appointments.'

We also did our video with them. We loved the samples we saw, but our video was nothing like it. It is very plain, with no special effects - nothing special at all. They recorded our DVD on a low quality - you can actually see the pixels on our baby photos.
