Has anyone had a bridesmaids dress altered to fit a Jr Bridemaid? My Jr Bridemaid is 5.2 so I am not worried about height, but she has only just started developing so I am worried about the bust. In a year things may change, but is it possible to have the bust altered in this way? TIA!

My BF did that in her wedding....She just added straps, and got the small size she needed...it looked beautiful.

I don't think it should be a problem to have a dress altered to fit her.

She should be fine. They'll measure her and order her an appropriate size. They'll have to do alterations on everyone, it shouldn't be a problem for her.

thats what i plan on doing too. adding straps and having it altered. shell be 13 and shes developing a bit so im not too worried

Some designers have Jr. brides maid dresses that go perfectly with the BM dresses. Did you look and see if they had one?

yes my Jr. BM wore the same dress as the BMs and she was 8. They added straps and brought up the neckline so it would be age appropriate. It came out great.

My BM dress is a Bill Levkoff dress in cinnamon. They do not make Jr BM dresses and I am nervous about matching the color with another brand. I really wanted her in the same dress so I will just ask about altering it! Thank you!!

If my girls go strapless, I plan on her having spaghetti straps. I have the same problem though. My JBM is going to be 12 when the wedding comes but as of now she is budding out everywhere, every week I feel like she is getting a new bra size. I think when the time comes we'll get her the dress and alter it as necessary hopefully she will stop growing for like 4 months hahaha

Bill Levkoff does not make Jrs. ...but a company named ladybug does. I got my through Phyllis at Gownfind...she now has a store Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills.
I am 5'2 and so was my sister that was in my bridal party. We are both small chested. We ordered a 4 and had it altered by Phyllis. We had no problems.
