JR Bridesmaid ??

JR Bridesmaid ??

I have an 8 year old in my wedding party, would she be considered a Jr. Bridesmaid? If so should I have her wear a something like the Bridemaids??

I welcome ALL ideas...Thanks!!

my niece will be 8 at the wedding...and i asked her if she wanted to be a flower girls or JR bridesmaid...she decided on flower girl. works out for me bc i dont have any younger girls that could be the flower girl.

We looked at 'flower girl dresses' and IMO they are too baby-ish for her. My BM are in black and i think 8 is too young for black, so she will be a white dress that is more mature than a flower girl but not as adult as a bridesmaid (if that makes sense) with possibly a black sash.

We have 2 FG's (they'll both be 4) and 1 Jr. Bridesmaid (who will be 10). I'm doing black BM dresses as well and don't want to put the younger ones in black. The FG's will have the same dress (in white) and the Jr. Bridesmaid will also be in a white dress that's more for her age.

I think 8 is more flower girl age then jr. bridesmaid age. When I hear jr. bridesmaid I always think 12-14 years old.

Thanks girls! I just got a great idea from all of you. My bridesmaids are in black with a pool sash, I think that I am going to have her wear a pool blue dress with a black sash... problem solved... Thanks!!!!!

my niece is 10 and i am making her a junior bridesmaid. i think i am going to have her dress just a lighter shade than the rest.

I am having my FH's niece be our flowergirl. She is going to 8 by the time that we are getting married. We also talk about her being a jr bridesmaid but she wanted to be a flower girl. I thinking of not doing white for her because of her age and doing something similar to you with the opposite colors of the bridesmaids.

My little cousin is going to be my junior bridesmaid. She'll be 10 next year. She's actually almost as tall as my bridesmaids. We are having straps sewn into the dress and we are throwing around the idea of having the shawl made into a bolero jacket.

My jr. bridesmaid is in the same color and material as the rest of the bridal party. The designer has a jr section so it helped.

i have a 11 year old who is a jr... she is wearing a more conservative version of the bms dresses.. matching though

I had a JR bridesmaid and she wore a dress that was very similar to the bridesmaids.

My nice will be 8 at the wedding and she will be a flower girl. Her older sister, who is 13, will be the Junior Bridesmaid.

We are also having another flower girl, FH's goddaughter who will be 4 (almost 5) at the time of the wedding, so we thought it would be nice to have her walk down with my younger niece.

My niece will be 10 when we have our wedding amd she will be a jr bm. She will wear a different dress but same color as the bms

i have a 9 year old. i am considering her a JR bridesmaid. she is wearing the same dress as the flower girl. i think the BM dress is too old for her. but she is carrying a small bok not a basket.
