We originally were going to have a total of 8 people in our bridal party. But I don't want to ask 'just' anybody just to make it even. I figured I would have my fsil be a jr. bridesmaid.
Or do you think I should pair her up with another usher to have 2 bm to the 1 usher?
if there isn't a jr GM...then have her walk alone...
mine were both 14...they walked with a jr GM...
I doubled up GM with one BM...

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
I have 2 junior bm's (fh's nieces) - 13 and 16. They are walking down the aisle with my 2 little brothers who are actually the same ages as the girls!

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
I don't think 16 is too young. My cousin will be a jr. BM. She will be 13 by the time of the wedding. And I am planning on having her walk down the aisle by herself.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
My FH's two neices will be our Junior Bridesmaid. One is 13, and one is 10. I definately don't think 16 is too young. However they will be walking alone. I don't have any Jr. Groomsmen.

I don't think that 16 is too young at all. My nephew and FH's niece will be a jr. gm and jr. bm in our wedding party and they will only be 11 at the time.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
My 2 JrBM are 7 & 10. I think that if the girl is too old to be a FG but too young to be a BM, thats when you use Jr BM.
My FSIL just turned 16 last Sat and she is my BM. She is too old in my opinion to label with the Jr title.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
My best friend's 14 year old daughter was my 'jr' BM, but I didn't call her that. I just called her one of my BMs. She would have been very offended to be called a Jr. anything She wore the same dress as the other BMs. It was not low-cut nor inapporpriate for her age so it was fine. It is fine just to call the 16 year old your BM.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
My FI's niece will be 13 when we get married and she is walking down the aisle with FI's cousins who will be 18 and 15 when we get married but like michele I am calling her a Jr. BM. She is wearing the same dress and carrying the same flowers as the BMs.

My Jr BM will be 11, and she will walk by her self. She was upset that she wasn't the flower girl, evne though she is too old.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
At the time of my wedding, my two neices will be 13 and 15. The 13 year old will walk alone and be my Junior bridesmaid and the 15 year old will be a regular bridesmaid with a groomsman for a partner.

Re: Jr. Bridesmaid age???
I read in a few wedding books that a jr. BM is about 9-14 and after that they are bridesmaids
