Jr. Bridesmaids --Help!

Jr. Bridesmaids --Help!

My bridal party consists of a Best man , MOH and two young girls, which at the time of our wedding 10/01 will be 9 and 6 years old. My problem is with the two younger girls. I think the 9 year old is too big to wear a flower girl dress. DO I dress them alike? Do I have the 6 year old dress like a flower girl and the 9 year old like a jr. brides maid, similar dress to MOH? Do i go for three different dresses, colors? If so any suggestions where to look? I've looked through tons of bridal magazines and haven't seen anything that catches my eye for that age group. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I will check it out, I also thought about going to a department store, but this will me that the 9 year old will be wearing the same color dress as the MOH but not the same dress? What do you think?

Johanna,

I had a similar situation, I have a MOH and a 9 year old jr bridesmaid. Believe it or not I found an 'age' appropriate dress for her in the JC Penny Bridal Catalog. My future SIL appreciated it because they have 5 kids and the dress was around $70

Is your flower girl going to be in white? If not, I would say try to dress them all in the same color (or similar) but different styles to suite their age. I think the same color is fine because you definitely can't put them in the same style. Even if your 6 yr old wears white, the other ladies would look nice in the same color. Then pull the whole look together by incorporating the color into the tux accessories.

I thought about dressing the 6 year old in white, but have her dress accessoried with the other ladies. I've seen alot of white dresses with ribbons that can be in the color of the other two. But if I am lucky and sind a dress for her in the same color I would have them all have the same color with the style that suites each.

How many of you are having or had the viennese hour? Is it worth it? We didn't originally want it but our hall priced it on our contract in case we decided to add it. Our reception ends at 12am and I'm afraid adding an additional hour will be too late. Besides, I'm always too full to even enjoy all the desserts. We would rather have individual trays of pastries for each table, but my FI's mom is insistant that we go for the extra hour not to mention the extra money, out of our pocket. What does everyone think?

Thanks for the suggestions, thanks.
I'm also getting married at Villas. I have been to 2 weddings there and there was no problem with the sound coming in from each party. First off, there will be 2 weddings going on at the same time, however, they are not at the same time. You have a choice of a time slot. The first one starts at 6:30-with the reception starting at 7:30, and the second one doesnt start till 8:oo. That is if you are getting married in the evening. Our matre de (spelled that wrong) is Gabe. My friend had him at her wedding and said he was EXCELLENT!! He was always making sure that things were going good. Lots of luck.

Our tentative time schedule is a follows
