I've heard about it, it seems to be some sort of presentation of the staff. I haven't seen it at JT but I have at other weddings and I don't think it's something that we want. I may make sure our DOC takes care of this if possible, but plenty of time to figure it out, let us know if you find out anything ![]()

I tried doing a search on here with no luck. Can someone please explain what it really is? Like a cool/fun dance or like a OMG what are they doing type of dance? lol
Also, is it a quick dance? Would you recommend this?

We're not doing it... I talked to our BM about it he said it was usually done but if you don't want it then they don't do it. It isn't really our thing either, so they will pour the champagne right before we enter the room

If you search for champagne march, you will have more luck...champagne dance is just another name for it that JT created I guess.

they call it the champagne march... all it is is the waitstaff coming out to music and they walk w/their champagne bottles sorta around the dancefloor & to the tables in an organized/choreographed way. i've seen youtube videos of ones that were SUPER SUPER cheesy..this was not like that at all. It was just a presentation of the champagne, and then they pour everyone's glass individually(instead of it already being on the table)...it's all very extravagant ![]()
something to look forward to rather than worry about..
