can you please recommend your hotel?? I have been trying to decide where to block our rooms...
we really want to have an after party, or be able to go to a bar or suite afterwards to party after the wedding..
we are all staying at the same hotel as our guests so we need to be able to get ready there...

We are getting married at JT too and wanna have an after party too somewhere in a nearby hotel...especially one that has a shuttle transportation!

Hey we are at JT and the hotels we put as suggestions on our save the dates are : Garden City Hotel Hilton Garden Inn - Westbury The Hyatt Place - Gerden City
Also there is La Quinta
I believe they all do blocks. We are waiting to see how many guests ask about more hotel info and we will then try and get some blocked rooms for people.

PS.. The Hyatt Place looks awesome, we have never been there but are going to check it out, I think it might have a good after party vibe
We have a block at Hyatt Place. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL. They are actually suites so plenty of room as well! We have a group rate of $139.

Does the Hyatt provide a free shuttle for JT brides? I know the Hilton Garden Inn- Westbury does free shuttle for JT weddings. Their bar can be kept open until 2AM

We used La Quinta. I believe the rate was like $129 or $139. We did not have to fulfill a certain number of rooms, they provided a shuttle (looked like a party bus) to and from JT for our guests. We stayed there and they gave us $150 off of our room (we had a suite) since 15 or more of our rooms got booked. They kept the bar opened past 2am because everyone was tipping the bartender, and they gave us one of the meeting rooms for a private complimentary breakfast the next day. All in all, no complaints. I dealt with Deanna and she was great!

Hampton Inn Jericho-Westbury. It's on Jericho Turnpike by Brush Hollow Road on the North Side.
They gave us a block for $139 per night but that includes hot breakfast each morning and a shuttle to and from the RH. If you don't need the shuttle I think it was $119 per night but that depends on the time of year, i'm sure.
Also, the rooms sleep up to 6 since they have 2 queens and a pullout couch HTH
Call and speak to Samantha George. You can go to visit the rooms at any time and they have the maintenance guy bring you around. Hotel is new (only about 1 year old) and has an indoor pool, gym, and business center.

just found out that yes they do... I called the other day and they didn't provide a shuttle before, but I guess they just set it up.
The bar at the Hyatt is only open until 12... but they said we could use the lobby as an 'after party' space. also, since they are all suites I guess we could have an after party in one of the rooms...
