For anyone who has done their cake tasting at Dartoni's for their wedding cake. Did you do only the tasting? Or did you bring in pics and ask them if they can do what you like? Also did you ask them if it would be extra money and how much.

Re: JT question
i actually forgot cake pics but i couldve definately brought! basically they give you an idea of what is included. a little fondant like for bows, each layer wrapped at the bottom type of thing, etc. but mostly buttercream. also you can choose i think as many flavors as you want and have different ones in different layers for sure. they do show designs but they are a little outdated, imo so you can definately bring pics but the design must fall within those guidlines basically of a small amout of fondant, whatever other outside you chosse (buttercream, etc.) and i think like basic shapes, square or round, nothing crazy and they set the amout of layers based on your guest count. they told me i could have 3 or 4, 4 would be narrower and taller or 3 would be wider but either i chose was fine

bc here's my dream cake....
that cake is butter creams and the ribbon is real not edible... DEF use that as a swing factor... they are saving the money on not using fondant so that should pay for the time to make the damsk design.

Thanks Ali! I don't care about edible ribbon anyway. I might even be changing that to some bling ribbon instead
