Wondering if any one plans on going to the Showcase at Jericho Terrace Wednesday night?
And if anyone has ever been to one there b4 what can I expect.. is it worthh the trip from Brooklyn??

Definetly worth it! You will see a lot of vendors form flowers, invites, tuxes, hair accessories,etc. You also get to taste some cocktail hour food which is yummy. They also usually have a live showcase. You will have a good time, just try to get their early.

It is totally worth it - def. do it atleast once! We live in Brooklyn and made the trip a few times. And we are going tomorrow to do our menu selection! YAY!!!

Its Def worth it!! Were from Brooklyn and we went there twice. You get a lot of good info and ideas from different vendors. I try and find any excuse to go there but I'd recommend going to at least one before you're married. They sometimes offer deals or give away stuff so you never know!

Definitely go. We are from Bklyn. We went three times in 2009. There are vendors there that you can meet and the food is yummy !

I went to the last one and it was okay. I think this one will be more helpful to me since I know more about the florists that are going and what I'm looking for, the DJ I booked will be performing and the limo company I have an appt. with next week will be there!

Here are the details you asked for:
1st I must say a while back I posted sharing my story about how we might pushh our date back and we decided it was best sooo i am now a 2012 Bride.. sad.. but the best choice for uss!! and what a coincidence .. the same night a 2012 board goes upp.. love it!!
The showcase was really nice .. they had sooo many vendors there. We actually booked with Bodyrock who was awesome! We didnt stay to see MRG bc we had gotten quotes from both already and MRG was much higher. They did some cute trivia contest and gave away free cds, tshirts and one girl won a $500 gc from flowers by brian!! luckyy biatchh! lol
They had a nice food dispay. Most showcases i been to just passed around hourderves which they did. But they also had like a mini cocktail hour with coldcuts, fruit, vef, tortalini, bread, mozzerella. Pretty yummy I must say lol!
i did get a chance to check oout Thomas Knoll who had beautiful stuff on display but omg the prices are outrageous like $600 for a headpiece OMG ....overall it was a nicee show and the florists had beautiful pieces on display !
