hello ladies...im getting married next june and is very concerned about the time of my coctail hour...it is suppost to start at 8:30 and my church is at 5:00...do you think thats too much time in between for guests...i wanted to take pics in between

Not at all!!!! I'm a JT bride (got married in March), and my church was 3 and cocktail was 7:30. With the receiving line and pics etc etc we didn't leave the church till about 4:30. Most guests went home in between since church was local for them, but OOTers just went straight to JT. They have an early arrival lounge that serves drinks and light snacks. From what I heard from guests that went early, they weren't bored at all. IMO give ppl free booze and they will be happy! HTH!!! Congrats!!
