Judgement day...HAIR (not trial - just cut)

Well I did it, I cut the mouse-y looking hair I hated so much. I consulted and consulted some more with my stylist and we agreed that this style, with a little length on top would suit my taste and complete the sophisticated non-typical bridal look I wanted. We also agreed that I needed a little framing around my face with some wisps of hair. In order to be able to affix the headpiece and veil to the top of my head, I kept the length longer than I originally planned. After the wedding, I plan on making it more severe and spikey and solid RED. Now the base is red and the highlights are blonde though you cant really see the red in the pictures.

The first picture is how my hair looked at the 11/13 GTG. The second picture is the cut. The THIRD picture is NOT, I repeat NOT a hair trial . I simply put the headpiece on it to get a rough idea of what I might expect. The back will be teased much higher and the front will be sleek but I have a WICKED COWLICK which makes it impossible to do what I want with it on my own! I am glad because now my hair looks and feels much healthier and thicker. Thanks for all of your support throughout my psychoses!

You cut your hair!! Good for you. I like it short like that, I think it suits you better!

Thanks! I just feel better now. The maintenance is minimal and it looks healthy. Ed actually likes it too and my mother can't complain that I look like a man. Her worst fears didnt come true!

Thanks! It was somewhat of a compromise. I had to stop the impulsive side of me from buzzing it all off. I had to maintain a level of femininity!

LOVE the new 'do, Leslie! I really love it. The style is sophisticated - I have also had short hair before and the grow out phase can be a real buzzkill. I think you made a great decision, but more importantly, what did your FH think?
