It was GREAT! She is not expensive... well compared to the Wedding Center, but she couldn't give me an exact price yet. She has to fix some beading on the sides (from taking the dress in) so she said if it takes her a very long time she is going to charge a little more. Fine with me. The 'high estimate' she gave me was 1/3 of the wedding center. She is a sweet old lady. She actually retired from the Dorothy Walsh store recently because her husband made her, and she said that she has to do this at home now because she LOVEs sewing and it is her life and she could never give it up. She has been doing this her entire life... she worked at some pretty nice places.. like Yves Saint Laurent. She was so cute! She said she will be done with the first fitting next week

Re: Jultz33.....
That's good she's cheaper. My sister went to David's bridal and they charged about 300.00 for alterations

Re: Jultz33.....
The only complaint I have is she wouldn't do my bustle the way I wanted... she was insisting THE DRESS WILL RIP!!!! So I let her do it her way which was based on where the seams were in my dress. She is the expert
