Hi Girls! Just curious how you are all doing in your planning. How far along are you? What are you exact dates. I'm July 10th and feel like I still have so much stuff left to do.

Re: July 04 Girls
hugs213...we have the same date! 7/11...that way neither one of us will forget an anniversary. I started really early because I knew exactly what I wanted. Now I'm just getting the final details on the big venders and beginning all the little details. Has anyone thought of favor ideas yet???? We're thinking of going the donation route in honor of my Grandmother but I want to do something else...something little and not too too expensive. Ideas ladies???

Re: July 04 Girls
I dont believe in that Farmers Almanac! Dont get your hearts sunken, Ill believe it when I see it, and I REFUSE to allow us July brides to be rained on! If we wanted rain we would have gotten married in May!
Girls, I cant believe we are almost there. It seemed like so far away over the summer, but its coming so fast. After the holidays, its going to fly by.
No July 17th girls out there?

Limo- probably done next week (I know a little out of order but in the mood to do that)

Hello ladies
07/31/04
I was having problems witht the site, but now I am happy it is back on.
I only have the hall / church. But, that is okay, this week I want to find the photogray/Video. I am not sweating yet. My honeymoon will be in Aruba.. and I have chosen Coral.....But, I don't know what color roses match with it. I have also opt to not put to many girls in my wedding, I don't want any confusions. I want it to go smoothly.
I am so excited, I can't wait to change my last name
Take Care Ladies hope to hear from you.

Hi Molly25
Yes, what a coincedensce, I am leaving to Aruba Aug. 01, 2004-early that morning.
I don't have much done yet. My mom and I are so convinced, that we need the best photo's b/c..they last a lifetime. We just don't want to end up paying 2,000.00 for the photo & video 2,000.00. We are trying to get a package deal. I am still in the mix for the month of Nov.
The only thing I got is the hall and reception.
I am working very slow. I might go dress shopping in January 2004. I have an idea what I like, I cut out all the pictures. It is steming from Eve Milady dress line fashion
Good Luck

Re: July 04 Girls
Hi Girls!
Another July '04 bride here (July 25 to be exact!!!)
We were ony engaged late Dec '03 so I am FRANTICALLY planning my wedding! So far hall, church, and photo/video are done .. but time is short so I have to get DJ and gown done in the next couple weeks! Then the other stuff as I go along .. yikes!
I work well under pressure so I think we can do it But I'm stressing!
Have NO idea about BM dresses .. have to get my gown first .. only 3 girls, but they are all SO different looking .. I'm trying to think of something universally flattering, and summery ...
Lets pray for NO THUNDERSTORMS in JULY!! :)

Re: July 04 Girls
Hi Girls! I am new to this board. My date is July 11th and the only thing i have done is booked the reception site. I still have to find video, florst, photo, hair stylist and makeup. The worst part is i live in atlanta. My color is lilac and my flowers are callas.

Re: July 04 Girls
Mrs.Miller2B, welcome!
I know it seems overwhelming to plan the wedding from out of state - I'm not a LI resident either, I live in Westchester over one hour away.. and these boards have helped me A LOT in the planning (esp. since we are doing it pretty quick!)
You have your hall and that is the most important first step .. the rest will fall into place as you go along .
good luck and we're here to help!
PS: Lilac is beautiful .. was once of my choices to consider ;) (but I won't steal it!)

I am trying to keep my cool. My mom has so much ideas and stuff that it is beginning to be so overwhelming. With a morning wedding, who is going to do my hair and makeup. Anyone have any recommendations? Also if anyone is doing a garden wedding please tell me how you are performing your ceremony and decorations. Thanks girls!!

You'll get it all done .. everyone told me I was crazy to do it in 7 months but everything is going along well ... I know the worst part is when everyone tries to 'help' but they wind up making you stressed !
You can find someone to do your hair/makup early that morning .. i've read that some girls have had theirs done 6am! Try some of the vendors on this board .they get such great feedback! BUT they book up fast, so start emailing them or calling them to see if they're available on your date .. then maybe you could come to NY to have a 'trial' done ..
Good Luck and we're alll here for ya
