My dj is based in Staten Island. My cousins and a few friends used him also, Ultimate in Entertainment. Friends of ours used Long Island Sound and they were great at both weddings we saw them perform.

I'll Join! I booked the RH, ordering my dress tomorrow, and that's it so far! I'm going to get a move on after the new year. I know I'm behind, but have done tons of research having become addicted to this site, so I pretty much know what I need to do, and who to go to. gfeild -- we are hall twins -- I'm the day after you -- don't trash the place

don't you just wish it would get here already? I so want this madness to stop. I still have to book hotels, kick bm's butts to order their dresses and start my diy's.
ugh..anyone recommend a good hotel and shuttle service?

I have to book our honeymoon, do invitations, other stationary, hair and makeup, ceremony and cocktail hour musicians, my shoes and jewelry, BM and GM gifts, book rehearsal dinner.

Woo hoo!!! June 29th for me...almost July, I guess. I'm a teacher too - 4th grade this year. And I'm in grad school again to be a principal. I must be crazy.

i still have so much stuff to do i can't even remember everything! i have all the big vendors booked so that's not a big concern but i still don't have bm dresses or FH suit or GM suits FH still needs a wedding band, i'm still not totally sure what i'm doing for favors, i haven't even mailed my STD's yet. we haven't registered! there has been no DOJ picked out. honeymoon isn't booked, invites are a fig newton of my imagination. i have no friggin clue how to plan a wedding. i have this ridiculous fear my wedding is going to be boring

Hi July 08 brides! Can you believe we only have 7 months left?!!? Crazy! I have done almost everything but havent done BM dresses, invitatations, favors or shuttle bus yet, so have a bit to do, but not too too overwhelmed. Has anyone found BM dress designers who have dresses with different straps for the different bms? Like bms wear the same dress, just with diff straps...Also, has anyone found a decent charter bus company to transport guests to/from the hotel?

Hey, another date twin! I'm also a teacher and getting married on July 12th! So far we've book the RH, church, photo/video, DJ, florist, HM, ordered gown and BM dresses. I have my hair and makeup booked too..hmmm......gonna wait on a veil and tiara......that's about it!

I still have tons to do! Limo, Photographer, florist. I am waiting until after the holidays to really start getting my @ss in gear! LOL.

im july 26th 2008, not a teacher but my mom is if that counts! lol we have everything booked except limos and tuxes, honeymoon will be booked by the end of the year!

I am concerned with the humidity too...I actually checked out the farmer's almanac and the week of my wedding...which is for a number of us...looks promising...sun, very hot, but sun and not rain...that is good news! I am a teacher also...makes sense to do it this time of year...I astill have to book a florist and limos, we need to keep in touch
