I still haven't found 'the one', but I started looking. Haven't fallen in love with anything? What's the latest time you think is good to look without going nuts? Some people told me I'm too early for everything. I went in to see a vendor (not dress) and they told me to come back in 6 months (so rude) another place almost kicked me out when I told them that I'm getting married in July.

Depends on the designer of the dress. Some take a year to come in, others take 8-10 months and some take 6-8 months. There are some that can come in about 4-6 months. But also give enough time for alterations once it comes in

Re: JULY brides..................
I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and it should come in in Nov. depending on the line that you are looking at it can take from 4-9 months for the dress to come in... the upscale designers take longer.. they told me a jim hjelm or alvina valenta take 9 months... but I ended up with a casablanca and fell in love.. had to order it

I bought mine at a sample sale, so it's already at home.
