This morning I woke up and looked at the calendar and hit panic mode-- again!


2 months aaack! Where are you all in your planning? What else do you still have to do?

At this point, I feel like I'm a little behind. I haven't started hair trials yet, though I have my first appointment on Wednesday. I did a couple of makeup trials and will pick someone in the next couple of days. Still need to:

book rehearsal dinner
meet with photographer, videographer
go to Swan Club to pick menu, linens, cake
buy gifts for BP, parents
pick one more reader
order favors
start getting hotel bags together
meet with our 'music director' (we hired a friend who works in the wedding band business to pur our music together)
select 1st song
dancing lessons
and a bunch of little things

Things are starting to look manageable now. But I need to lose the 5 pounds that are creeping back to my body!!!

OMG swags, we still have so much to do, here's my list:
Hair/makeup trials
get a tan (a fake one:)
buy a dress for after the reception
buy a dress for the brunch
bm gifts
parent gifts
meet with florist to decide on flowers
put together 'must have list' for photographers
put together music list
write and order programs and menus
Put invites in the mail (tomorrow).
WORK OUT
pick up bm dresses
fittings
buy shoes and veil
get bracelet shortened that I'm wearing on the day
get headpiece
finish booking honeymoon (interisland flights)
buy favors
put together hotel gift bags/bathroom baskets
order wish bowl cards/place cards, etc.

Peter still has everything to do - tux, shoes, gifts

Today we got most of the BP presents done.

I still have to:

Wrap BP gift
Get parents gifts (shh don't tell FH he doesn't think it is necessary)
Get or decide on jewerly for the day
Pray that my dress comes in
Pray my veil comes in
Get a tan
Make play list for the band
Schedule centerpiece mock up
Get paper for wish bowl
Wrap favors

Then all the final touchs- tip envelopes etc

Frankie has to order tuxes and get Best Man's gift

Lots left here too....
-do seating/place cards
-hair and makeup trail
-jewelry
-outfit for Joe (beach wedding so it's a pain!!!)
-wedding band (Joe's ...I of course have mine )
-tasting/linens at Atlantica
-rehearsal dinner?
-unity candle
-cake topper
-write vows
-pick out music
-purse for me
-finish our collage for the place card table
-sleep and stop worrying about the weather!!!

Oh Boy I have 41 days left. Oh my god oh my god!!!

Things to do still:

-I have an appt on Tues to meet w/ Jack and Rose
Booked them last night!
-I have my dinner tasting / selections on Friday at East Wind
-I have an appt on June 14 for a Hair Trial
-I'm still waiting for RSVP's. They're supposed to be in by June 1st. But I doubt it.

-Fittings for everyone
-Flower Girl dresses
-Music Selections for DJ
-Gifts for BP, FI, Parents
-Place Cards
-Headpiece
-Rehersal Dinner

I know i'm forgetting a thousand other things.
I'm trying to take one thing at a time. It doesn't help that everyday people are like
'So...how's it going, you can't have much more to do ...right?'

I have a little over a month left and still much to do!!!

finalize dress/lose inches
buy gifts for Bridal Party
burn CD's and make covers/labels
figure out make up
meet with florist to finalize flowers
finalize guest list, call all people who didn't rsvp
make seating chart and place cards
get tie for lenny
make tags for photo scavenger hunt
prepare $$$ envelopes and card box
get a car for rabbi
get a car for ourselves to and from hall
pack for honeymoon

I think that's all :-)

Ok, I feel like I'm on track re what needs to be done, but DF just told me we have 40 days to go...it's so cute, he's been keeping track. But when he told me that, I got these big knots in my stomach and felt nauseous. I don't know if that's because it's TOM or what, but I felt like crying, for some reason! Am I getting scared?? Or just nervous?? Or is my body just messing with my head?? AGHHH!!!

I also posted this to BHB and then edited it to say that I emailed DF back that it was 'very scary' and his response was, 'Very Wonderful.' And I almost cried yet again. Why am I such an emotional wreck??!!

Alison, it's just nerves. Don't worry! I've been crying at the drop of a hat the past 2 weeks.

- purchase disposable cameras
- finish favors
- print and mail RD invites
- purchase gifts for readers

Yeah, gift for readers...I've been stumped on that one. Do you have any ideas yet as to what you are getting?

And, hey, Jenny, isn't your big move soon??? I'm so sorry we weren't able to catch up here in DC before you left.

I saw some really pretty jewelry boxes at Fortunoff.

Yes, my big move is this Saturday Tomorrow is my last day of work and we've been packing like crazy. I am so tired!!

Hi everyone - I have 38 days left and am stressing about the little things!!!

Here's what I have left to do:
-buy gifts for MOH, parents, and flower girls
-meeting with vidoegrapher tommorow night
-have final meeting with hall
-have to pick up programs, menus, and placecards (they are being made)
-wrap favors

I can't think of anything else!
