Really? My mother is the opposite and advised me to do so within the week! I did receive an invitation for the weekend before mine just yesterday so I feel like Im on the right pace! But do what you feel is comfortable!

I'm trying to send my invites out 10-11 weeks before. I know most sites say 6-8 weeks. But i feel like thats pushing it. I know i will hear people say that it's too early. I dont care!!!!... I'ts not their wedding.

I'm with you on this one. Especially for a summer wedding, people are very busy over the spring and summer, there are always communions, BBQ's, other weddings, vacations, kids are off of school and involved in things, I think you should give them as much time and notice as possible!
