I'm a June '06 bride and I've had my bm's dresses for 2 months now. But we saw them just browsing and loved them so much we ordered them on the spot! I don't know what's typical.

they take about 3 months or less to come in from a typical bridal salon. My BP ordered from David's and they came in 3 WEEKS!

I have selected them already but only one bridesmaid actually got sized. So until all six get measured they don't officially order the dress. They said I had until January to order the dresses though.

I ordered my girls dresses in July. My sister lives out of state and she was here then. I gave all the girls the choice of July or December to order the dress. They all chose July.

I am having 5 girls total...two have ordered...I was told they must all be ordered by the end of Jan.

yes. we ordered in july and they just came in about 2 weeks ago. they come in much quicker than bridal gowns, so you have time. ~lacey

We haven't ordered ours yet. The salon said as long as we order them by January (I have 2 girls currently pregnant)

I went and looked and narrowed down choices but haven't ordered anything yet...Lillettes told me I could wait until January

we went in july put deposits down and they got measured... THey arent ordering officially until DEC. when my JR BM goes back to get measured again(in case of growth) so dec it will be officially in, but $$$ is down

We just picked them out and I am waiting for all the girls to get measured. I was thinking of sending the order in January or Febuary, which I still think is a little early.

Just an FYI, I was a JUly 05 bride and ordered our dresses in November, they didn't come in until the end of June...I know that is longer than usual but that was my experience!!

I haven't ordered them yet. I'm just happy I finally ordered my dress this month.

Ordering around Christmas. That is what the salon suggested.
