I can't decide if i want an up do or half up half down.... ive always wanted half up half down, but im scared it won't hold in the heat and its such a long day what are u other july brides doing?? i know there is a lot of us! TIA

one day i was wedding-talking to my fiance (what else is new?!?) and i probably shouldn't have asked him this since there was only one answer i wanted to hear, but....
i pulled my hair all back and was like, 'do you like my hair better all up or just half up?' i so wanted him to say he likes it better half up (which is how i plan to do it for the wedding), but what does he say? 'i love it like that!' (referring to ALL up).
ugh... i hate the way i look with it all up! so now what do i do... wear it all up, which i know he LOVES, or wear it the way i think looks better?
what to do, what to do?!?

awww... you're sweet. that's what he said too, though he said it AFTER he saw the look on my face when i heard him say he loved it all up (clearly that was not what i wanted to hear!!!)
i just wish i had gotten that same reaction from him when i put half my hair up as i did when i put it all up. i never knew the reaction an updo could have on a person!! :-P

i am the weekend before you and i am doing all up.. I always wanted to do half up but because of the exact reasons you said... heat, humidity and length of the day, i will be wearing it up.

I'm fighting the same battle. My hair is long and thick so I love when its down but if I'm dancing and what not I'm going to wish it was up.

I have really long, thick hair but I knew that I wanted soft romantic curls. My hair stylist told me during my trial that she was going to give me 'July hair' LOL. It is half up, but is all pulled off my face. Pics are in my album. I absolutely love it and she promised it would withstand the heat and dancing :)

I have an ungodly amount of thick hair, so it will be all up. It keeps my head warm even in the winter.

I'm going up bc I don't want to be sweating! I have thick hair so the last thing I want is hair on my neck! No thank you!! Hopefully it will be gorgeous and sunny all of July!!!
