when did/will you start looking into your honeymoon? i tried looking online and it won't let me see july 2006 prices yet.
also, are there any areas of the world that are hurricane/storm prone in july??

Re: July brides--honeymoon question
I'm June and we are going to book next month. Usually you can book flights 330 days out and most resorts almost a year out. Cruises you can book all the way to 2007! Where are you thinking of going? You will have the risk of hurricanes in the caribbean, but you can get trip insurance.

Re: July brides--honeymoon question
We haven't started looking yet because we can't decide where to go! There's just too many places out there I want to see - can't decide!
As far as Hurricanes, the Caribbean, Florida, and parts of Mexico are in danger of Hurricanes during July. Usually August/September is the peak of Hurricane season but this year and the next couple of years are supposed to be active ones, so I guess you never know. If you take insurance out on your trip you should be ok - or postpone the honeymoon to post-hurricane season, or just steer clear of that area all together!

Re: July brides--honeymoon question
i would LOVE hawaii! i'm just worried about the expense. we're paying for the whole honeymoon and i want to go way for at least 10 days (hopefully 14 but doubtful!).
i've been to the caribbean many times on cruises but am willing to go again. i don't want to do europe.
when does it make most sense to book? this summer? or should i wait awhile?
oh--i can't postpone the honeymoon because i'm a teacher and can only go away when i have off. so that leaves me with the summer.
