I just got mine, but still dont have my list for the calligrapher!! Going to have to send without FMILs list!!!

FH took them to the post office this morning!!!
We had a 7 hour stuffing and stamping session last night (this does not include the 4 hours it took us to cut the bows). I had 6 people in total helping to stuff.

My RSVP date for US people is May 15 and the RSVP date for those overseas is June 1.

Oh, I did my envelopes with Artistic Addressing.

Just wondering?? I set my RSVP date for 7/2 for a 7/24 wedding. Should I make it sooner-- maybe 6/25???? Seems like a lot of people are making the RSVP date about a month before.

I made mine really early- June 7 for a July 16th wedding to avoid all those procratinators waiting until the last minute. I really don't care now if they are late but I would care if my date was June 26.

I made my RSVP date earlier because people also have to book the hotel around the same date, and I thought it would be easier for folks to remember when to do things.

Generally, the books say invites go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding, and RSVP dates are 3-4 weeks before. I did everything earlier because it's summer and people might want to make vacation plans. Also, I skipped STDs. We have a very small group (around 60), so we spread the word ourselves and through our family.
So I don't think anyone is late at this point--I'm early.

Mine are almost ready to go out. I just have to print the direction/map card that I made. Hopefully I will get mine in the mail by May 1st.

MINE ARE GOING OUT ON SATURDAY...they are calliig. and will be stuffed this week. our rsvp date is june 4th...we wanted 6 weeks so we can work on our favors, seating charts, votive placecards, etc.....:)

I hope to get my envelopes printed out this week. Still waiting for the direction cards from the reception hall. Once the envelopes are printed, I can weigh a completed invitation at the post office, buy stamps, and hopefully mail them out ASAP!

Ordered and got my invitations.
Haven't sent them out yet, since I'm still waiting on some addresses.
Also, my FH is re-doing the direction cards, so hopefully I'll be sending everything out by May 15th.

My invites are actually all done, addressed by the calligrapher and the whole thing. I'm just trying to find a map company to make my directional cards/maps so I can send out the invites by mid-May. If I don't find someone soon, I may end up having a little DIY project on my hands!

I'm up to 70 yes, 10 no

Still about 30 invites outstanding and my rsvp date is next Wed.

I want to kill my clueless cousins! Who all are married by the way, they should know better.

On FH's side, at least 8 couples returned it they day they got it

I want to give out a door prize at the reception for those who got their rsvp's in right away and DISS my stupid cousins

I mailed mine out on Saturday and received 4 RSVP's back already!
I still have two to mail out though...I am waiting to receive the corrected envelopes b/c I messed up on the spelling of their name.
Hopefully I'll get the revised envelopes today so I can mail them out by tomorrow the latest! My RSVP date is May 25th.

I put mine in the post box Sunday nigh (4/25) and people are telling me they got them already. So exciting. My return date is 6/15. My wedding is 7/30
