Does anybody know the amount for a mortgage to be considered 'jumbo'? Thanks

At my credit union it's for a loan amount over $359,650.

It depends on the house, I believe if it is a single family then a jumbo mortgage over $359,650. If it's a 2 family then it's more - not sure of the amount though.

You're right. I have a Jumbo that's under the $359K amount, so I may re-finance.

it was 333,000 and they just raised it $359,600 b/c of the rising house prices.
