June 3/4 brides

What RSVP date are you putting on your reply cards? Is May 6 OK?

It should be. One month prior to the wedding is optimal.

I'm June 10 and we put May 1st for our RSVP. It should be about 6 weeks prior.

I am getting married on June 3rd the woman at the invitation store recommened one month. I chosse to put April 26th it would be 5 weeks I just want to have enough time for all the people that do not respond.

I'm a fellow June 4th bride - We put May 1, which is an easy day to remember and I think is enough time to make phone calls if necessary. HTH.

I'm June 2nd, and I put April 30th (which is actually a Sunday). But my thinking was that if people see APRIL they will reply by the end of April. Wishful thiking...I know....

But I thought if I put MAY 1st, then maybe they would think they have to respond sometime in May (like the first week in May) and then the responses would be way late. (I'm already counting on a lot of late repsonses!!)

I think May 6th is still a safe date though.
