I have gotten mixed reactions when i tell some people that i think i may send out my invitations to my wedding Around March 15th. So people should get them that week.
I plan on putting an RSVP date of May 1st.
Few people mentioned it was to early, and dont send them out before my shower, which is March 29
Just curious what some other june ladies are doing Thanks

It looks like you guys are putting a pretty early RSVP date...I need my final count 2 weeks before June 14th making that June 1st...and I was figuring an RSVP date of 1 week before that. Is that too late? should i give myself more time?

I'm sending mine Easter weekend (so around March 22), with an RSVP date of May 1. My Shower is April 5....
HTH! I have a lot of OOT so I want to give them some time to respond and make plans!
That sounds just about right to me date twin!

It depends, are the people you inviting good with RSVP'ing. My family is not so good so I need time to have other family members call them.
So by my calculations I was going to mail them out out mid march (especially for OOT guests)

I think that is perfect. You know that people do not respond by the correct date anyway, so I think the earlier the better! Especially if you are having a summer wedding. We are July 18 and even though we sent out save the dates we plan on mailing them by May with a June RSVP.

I'm doing an RSVP date of May 10th and hoping to get my invites out at the end of March. I think March 15th is fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Since you're looking to do a B list a later RSVP date might actually be better. The people that you're inviting late will have that much more time to rsvp and won't necessarily catch on that they're being incited so late. But then again, the late rsvp may cause the other A list guests to take their time responding. Ok, I guess I was no help

I am stuffing my invites March 22 and we are sending them out that week and my rsvp date is may 4

What about an RSVP date of April 30th for a June 21st wedding? Is that too crazy? My FH is really stressing and wants to get things CHECKED OFF THE LIST. He wants to start tackling seating arrangements, etc. which we can't do til we know who's coming.
Is it weird to send them out so early? Say the beginning of March? We're doing the invites online so I really have no guidance.
FH also figures having responses early might let us invite a few more people once the declines start rolling in.
What do you girls think?

good question i am the day before u and was going to set my rsvp for may 1st as well.....i was thinking 6 weeks before that...take a week to get there give or take a few days then a months to get it back to me.....should be good
