I have 3 sisters, one is my Matron of Honor and another one is my maid of Honor, but I'm not sure what to do with the younger one (she will be 15 by the time I am married). I wanted to make her a Junior BM because she really can't participate in all the activities like the Bachelorette party, but I'm not sure. She told me she wants to be a regular bridesmaids and I'm not sure if she's too old to be a J. BM. What do you think?

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
Mt Jr BM will be 15, and Jr. GM will be 14
IMO, it doesnt matter what you call her... she still cant participate in the B-Party... but she can be involved in your shower....
ETA: My Jr. BM is wearing the same dress as the rest of the BM's, just a different pattern

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
I was having this issue with my two cousins. One is going to be 13.5 and the other will be 15. I was looking at an article on The Knot and it said Jr. Bridesmaids are 9-14. I am basically going to see how much they have grown. Right now I know one of them wears juniors sizes and the other one is still in childrens. If they can't fit in a Jr. Bridesmaid's dress, I figure they can't be Jr. Bridesmaids! HTH

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
My jr. will be 12 at the time. I think you could make the 15 yr. old a regular BM...I know I was one at that age...I didn't go the bachelorette party..I just went out to dinner...
Good luck with the decision!

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
i would put her as a bm at that age.... she doesnt need to participate in everything to be called a bm... i think she would appreciate the 'older' title...

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
I think 15 can be a junior. My junior is going to be in 6th grade. It's really up to you....I think u can make her whatever you want...if she is upset being a junior tell remind her she gets to walk down a lone so she is honored just like the MOH's !

Re: Junior Bridemaids' AGE
I asked my cousin to be a junior bridesmaid but she felt bad she was the only one.
She asked to be a bridesmaid and I told her that she couldn't participate in the bachelorette party. She said that was fine but she didn't want to be called a 'Junior'.
Heck, as far as I'm concerned she can call herself an apple. As long as she's in the party it doesn't make any difference to me.
