Junior Bridesmaids

Junior Bridesmaids

Does anyone know the etiquette for Junior Bridesmaids? Are they included in all bridal party photos and limo rides? What other things should I know? I'm asking my two neices to be jr. bm's who will be 16 and 13 at the time of the wedding.

p.s. originally I didn't want to officially have them part of the wedding party. It's been made clear to me that I had to include them (!!). So giving them jobs like helping with favors and passing out gifts and stuff is what I had in mind. I don't have room or the $ to pay for them to come in a limo either.

My youngest is 13. I am actually having her as a Jr. MOH. I am including her in everything. She's old enough to enjoy all of it and I want her to be a part of everything.

Sure, you'd put them in all the formals. However, the limo rides kinda depends--are you guys going to be drinking and whooping it up in the limo? You might want the really young girl to go with her parents, then.

yes, my JR BM and JR GM were included in everythinig (minus bach. parties) They came in the limo and enjoyed all parts of the wedding.

Yup, my jrBM was DH's daughter so she was absolutely included in everything including some family shots of the 3 of us, and the limo ride. She even came to my bachelorette party (it was G-rated) and helped out at my shower (although she didn't know about it)!!

I have 2 JBM's, flower girl and ring bearer. They are only going in the limo on the way to the church (but not to the RH) b/c I have 9 total in the BP and the limo seats 10. I figured putting them in the limo on the way to the church was fair.
I'm sure they will be in some of the pics, but I guess I didn't give it that much thought.
Other then that, I really didn't know what other responsibilities I can give them.
The oldest is 11, so I doubt they're going to want to do anything but run around and hopefully take some naps

Yes, you include them in everything, especially the pictures and limo, they are old enough to enjoy you special day!!! I have two Jr. Bridesmaids who are 14 & 16 year old, they are my nieces, the are in everything from beginning to end.

I am having 2 Jr BM they will be 10----
I will be including them bridal party photos & if they want to come in the limo from the church to take pics/RH then that I am leaving up to them. They are FH's nieces so I am close to them but they are at the age where they can want to be with their parents to...soo we shall see. It's thereI am also have FH's nephews as Jr GM and including them in everything too.

I have two sisters one that is 22 and the other who is 9 (will be 11 when I get married) I just read in one of the earlier posts about a junior MOH...I was going to have the little one as a junion bridesmaid but I love that she could be a moh too!! Can someone explain what the difference is...and will she walk down the isle right before the moh?

My 2 Jrs, will be 15 and I am including them in the limo and some of the bridal party pics but I am also going to do some without them...

my junior BM, junior usher, FG and RB will be included in all wedding activities, from photos to limos. I am also paying for all their attire, since their parents are also in the wedding party .. so it is part of our gift to the little ones

My Jr BM was 8 and she was in the limo with us and all the photos. Her mom was one of my BMs. ETA: she was also at the shower and reahearsal dinner. The only thing she didn't attend was my bachelorette party.

They should be included in everything except the parties that wouldn't be appropriate.

When I was in a wedding at 15, I was a regular BM and included in everything.

I was a junior bridesmaid in my mom's wedding (obviously 2nd marriage. hehe) and I was included in everything.

My twin nieces are my Jr. BM and they are 12 years old - they are coming to the bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner, will be in the limos and are also coming to the entire wedding as well as brunch the next day. I'm very close to them and my sister.
