Junior or not?
My FH little sister and brother are both in our bridal party. When we get married, she will be 15 and he will be 13. Do we need to designate them as 'junior' or can we just lump them with the rest of the bridal party? I didn't want to separate them because I don't want to throw their age in their face. I though it would be nice if we just say BM and GM.Also, can I put a 15 year old girl in a strapless gown? I think as long as she can hold it up, it should be fine, right? And my FH dosn't want to put her in a something different to make her stand out.

Re: Junior or not?
My 'junior' is 10. I think a 15 yr old can wear strapless, if not, maybe you can have spagetthi straps added to her dress. That's what I did for my junior bridesmaids.

Re: Junior or not?
I think once you're 15, you think you're an adult pretty much anyway. I would let her be 'one of the girls' for the night. She'll feel more special that way, and yes, let her wear the same dress... I think it'll really make her feel included and a part of the group even more so.

Re: Junior or not?
my jrs. were almost 14...I don't think you have to specifically point them out as jrs. but they cannot do a lot of the obligations of a bm...like pay for the shower and go to the bachelorette party, etc...

Re: Junior or not?
I think you should go ahead and let her wear the same dress. I am not sure what the proper rules are about the other stuff. I do know once that when I was a jr. my mother was asked to help pay for the shower, but yabboy said a jr shouldn't so I have no idea what is 'proper'

Re: Junior or not?
My Jr. BM will be 9 for my wedding so we picked out a dress that is a different (but similar and age appropriate) from a designer affiliated with a BM dress maker, so all the dresses will match exactly in color and material.Have you thought of asking your 15 yr. old if she would be comfortable in a strapless gown or one with spaghetti straps? Some girls at this age still feel a bit awkward and others don't.

Re: Junior or not?
I do not think they have to be juniors.I think a 15 year old can wear strapless (as long as she feels comfortable in it..but that would be the same question you would ask any BM).
My friend's brother was only 13 and he was a usher (not junior).

Re: Junior or not?
My Juniors will be 7 and 10 at the wedding. I wouldn't designate a 15 yr old as a jr. And, I think spaghetti straps on a strapless would work if you're not comfortable with her in strapless, but I think it would be fine.Welcome New Vendors
