I had jury duty yestarday. I got picked to sit on a case. I have to go back on Tuesday!!!! MY students are going to miss me.

I'm sorry...but at least you are doing your civic duty now and wont have to deal with it for another 6 years so you wont have to deal with it during the wedding time of year!

Whoa! I'm a teacher, and when I was called for jury duty they dismissed me right away. The same thing happened to all my friends who are teachers. Apparently, judges/lawyers don't like when teachers are on cases because they go complaining about students losing out on education, etc. Do you work in NYC?

sorry to hear that...i have never done jury duty, i postponed my last one b/c i was a student at the time...my FH has to call in on Monday night for Tues! where are you doing it? that would be funny if you both had it!

good point and why is it I'm almost 25v & I was never invited even for the chance to be accepted, I can't wait, .....

Mineola, I postponed it to when I was in school. My Fh is going monday too. He's a cop so he has to go for work.
