What the heck am I supposed to wear for Jury Duty? It's been so long since the last time I was called
(PS: everyone please cross fingers I only have to report for one day and get excused )

how about a beer shirt-
j/k I saw that on my Junior High trip to court
this guy had his feet up and budwiser shirt on- of course he got excused
it was so funny!

I served jury duty not too long ago.
Business casual is fine.
Some people on the jury even wore jeans and no one said anything.

I've worn jeans, because if I am being asked to sit around all day, I want to be comfortable. I think business casual - or like 'dress down Friday' attire is fine.
I had a roommate once who wore ripped up jeans b/c she wanted to get off and she was picked! It was a drunk driving case and the guy was young - I told her she was a defense attorney's dream come true

I had read somewhere that a woman wore a French Connection UK shirt and she got excused. So I lent my brother's girlfriend my Super FCUK and sure enough she was excused.

I just had Jury Duty a few months ago. I don't remember what I wore but I am sure it was business casual. you had to see some of the people there and how they dressed! ripped jeans, dirty shirts...ick! and lets not even get into how some of them smelled LOL.
don't worry, just bring plenty of reading material with you

I wouldn't spend more than one second thinking about it - you can pretty much wear anything judging by what people wore when I was there...

And BTW Heidi, the GUILTY AS CHARGED has a Whose Line skit going thru my head since last night (Oh, that Colin Mocharie ).
Anyway, with the weather as it is, I was considering scuba gear but since I don't have any, I pulled a pair of jeans out of the hamper ( ) because every other pair of pants I can fit my fat arse in are looooooooong. I'm also wearing LL Bean snow sneakers because I *think* they have some weather resistant properties (I see myself getting SOAKED in the parking lot ) and a twin set ... it's going to have to do!!!
