Just a rant

ugh. I'm so annoyed because I was planning on taking a half day today to get wedding stuff done. But we need to get something out at work. But the project manager has been in and out of conference calls. So I'm basically sitting here wasting time but can't leave!!!

Just found out from hair & m/u that they are unavailable to come on site for touch up.

Because we're doing Chinese custom bridal pickup all our hair & m/u needs to be done by 1100am. My ceremony is not till 530pm. SO by the time my ceremony rolls around my hair and makeup will probably look like crap if it's still all there.

So then why the fudge am I paying this much for hair & make up then??

First look pics aren't till 3pm. Is my hair & makeup going to look good then??

Your hair and makeup should be fine. My ceremony is at 6:30 and my hair girl is arriving at noon, make-up at 1:30, followed by hair touch-up. I should be completely ready to go by 3:30. That gives me 3 hours in the summer sun before I walk down the aisle. I have been told by both, neither who know each other, that I will look perfect. HTH

you will be FINE... my hair and makeup people started at 8am for my 6pm ceremony and everything lasted all day and night in the june heat

Thank you! You made me feel better!!!

I'm more rational now. I think I just have to head to the store and spend some dough on makeup because I have none. I'm sure my girls will be able to touch up my makeup. The m/u artist said she'll show my girls how to touch up my makeup and fix my hair. Give me extra glue for eyelashes and bobby pins, etc.
