Thought I would share the 'wonderful' experience I had at the Duane Reade at Penn Station on my way home last night. I had a few minutes to kill so I decided to go in and pick up some ovulation sticks and a preg. Kit. I got up to the counter and some young kid (whose name tag was not even on so I could not get who it was) started yelling out, First response and one step (or whatever the names were on the two boxes) and then had the nerve to mutter, one is not enough for you huh??? I almost jumped across the counter and walloped him one. First of all it is none of your business, second of all you have no right to announce it across the counter and third of all if you could read and if you had any brains in your head you would see that an ovulation kit is not the same as a pregnancy kit and therefore NO, one is not enough!!! I was so mad and bit my tongue because I knew if I went back to the manager the scene was not going to be pretty and it was getting late and I wanted to get home. But, I am not finished and may call the store myself later!!! The nerve!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Re: Just a vent for those TTC
It's not bad enough that it's kind of personal anyway to be buying. To make it worse some drug stores keep these things behind the counter so you have ask for it! GEEZ!
