just as I suspected... Peanut's 'big'

But not 'too big'

According to what I've read, he/she should be about 6 pounds now and today's ultrasound shows that my baby is 'definitely over 7 pounds'!!

The doctor was kind enough to point out that if I went to 41 weeks , Peanut would be over 10 pounds, thankyouverymuch!!!

I'll see my OBGYN on Friday for my B-Strep and 1st internal (oh, joy)... we'll see if there's any action goin' on down there!!

The best part is I got to see my 'very active' baby and he/she is head down!!!

So exciting!!!!

A big baby is a healthy baby!!

Kathi....at my 37 week u/s, they told me Lyndsey was already 7 lbs 4 oz....THREE WEEKS later, she was born at 7 lbs 9 oz....so they over estimated a bit! Don't worry!

Mine was 10.3 at 37 weeks.........and that is almost exactly what they estimated..............

Holy Cow you have a big one. I am glad that your peanut is being active and ready for labor. I hope all goes well at the doctors.

Wow, the baby is big and no longer a peanut anymore!! But I've read that the u/s estimates can be off by as much as a pound or so, so don't worry yet! I haven't had a u/s since 20 weeks, so with only 11 days til my EDD we have NO idea how big the baby is!

Great news that baby is in the right position!!!

Nice size baby Kathy!

My doc's office hasn't said anything about another u/s. All I know is that at 35 weeks the baby is growing nicely and looks like a long one. Oy! We'll see what happens next week. Yes, next week, 36 weeks, the Strep B test and the internals begin. Oh joy.

I'm getting scared....anyone else getting scared????????? Not about the baby ... about the delivery.....

I can't believe how soon it's getting....

Wow, I'm getting so excited for you, Niha and Camille (did I forget anyone else who's due soon, I'm sorry -- pregnancy amnesia )!!!!!!!

Great news Kathi!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!

I can't wait for all these new LIW babies to be born!! We're going to need a new board called LIW BABIES -- hey Ron, whadda ya think????
