Just cake or other desserts at the reception?

Lot of cake/goodie questions today so just curious is anyone having a viennese (sp) hour or pastries/cookies with ake, ice cream bar, etc?

We are having a viennese hour with a crepe station, cheescake station, and an ice cream sunday bar among so many other sweets. YEAH!!!! Plus a expresso and after dinner drink bar.

We are doing the Viennese Hour also. I did it mainly for my mom but I was happy we got to extend the party an hour.

We are having a traditional cake but also a separate dessert served as part of the meal, along with some cookies and truffles on each table for guests to nibble as they take breaks from dancing and stuff.

Ours come with cake, a extra dessert (I think im getting somthing that sounds like a cookie sandwich with caramal over it. And also fruit/pastry platters on the tables. And of coarse a capp./espresso bar.

All of this is included. I find that it is a waste to have a hr of desserts bc most people are already full from dinner.

we're having a cheesecake bar. i'm so excited lol.. i had to give up the carving station at the cocktail hour to get it thrown in but thats ok. i like cheeskecake better

We are having an ice cream bar! It my favorite food!!! I don't even care about the cake, but yes of course we're having that too!

We get the cake, a cookie sandwich with ice cream drizzeled with caramel...but we are also having a choc fountain, bananas foster, cherries jubilee, and an ice cream bar. Its not really a full v-hour, but it didnt add any extra time to our party, so im not sure what to call it...but I am excited about it!!

Im having the Cake, an extra dessert and Mini Viennese triple tiered trays. Of course all the cordials with chocolate cups and all coffees u could thinkof. Maybe an Ice cream bar. But with all of the food we are having I think what we have is more then enough.

We are having cake and then the hall provides us with a dessert. I am still debating on whether or not we want to have a candy bar and possibly a chocolate fountain.

OMG are you talking about the Serendipity at CB?? We had that at the tasting and it was awesome!!

We are having a touch of Viennese...pastries, pies, french and italian cookies, cakes, fruit display, chocolate covered fruits, truffles and strawberries with whipped cream. An ice cream bar, chocolate fountain and cordail bar as well as our cake.

Our Banquet Manager actually talked us OUT of having the Vinnese table- which i really wanted. She said that everyone is full at that time- they barely touch the cake sometimes. We are getting the ice cream sundae bar and trays of cookies on each table in addition to the cake. they did offer a candy spread with the jars and the silver scoopers they also had a stand with cotton candy, caramel apples and popcorn! Way too much!
