I call it semi-final cuz Im waiting on 6 more rsvps but Im so anxious, I needed an idea of that my total would be.

We're def. short on $$, not by alot but still enough to make me panic. Im praying![]()
for my tax rebate to come quickly next week.
My only other hope is that FMIL comes through with the $$ she said she was going to give us. But that all depends on how quickly refinancing of her house goes, if it happens at all. If it does, she'll be giving us enough to pay off whatever and book our HM. I need a vacation BAD.
I cant waaait for all this to be over!!!

when we signed they broke it all down and yea you pay taxes on everything- not like the state does not makes enough on all the rest of the stuff we pay for!!!!![]()

I can't believe that on your past receipts that they haven't given you an approximate total due, which includes tax and service charge.....how rude!

Yes, I think with cash they probably will be willing to work with you. All of our vendors have given us discounts or extra services in lieu of discount. When you're talking about giving them cash for a discount talk to the owner. I'm not familiar with coral house, but it's the owner's call and they will be the ones to save $$ if you give cash. don't bother with the coordinator or salesperson, they're just going to go ask the owner.
My contract stated that my per plate charge included tax but not gratuity. my advice would be read over your contract again to make sure just in case.
one of the halls i looked at said the pp price includes tax and gratuity but they use the gratuity to pay the salary for the workers, so we needed to give extra gratuity.???

if it's still not enough to get you back on budget i would start cutting anything else not paid in full yet. e.g. cut corners on flowers, invites, limos, favors. losing a deposit might work out cheaper than going through with a package that will cost you a lot of $$

don't worry, i'm sure it'll all work out. If you're really unsure if you'll have enough $$ to pay for everything talk to your vendors, i'm sure they'll be willing to work with you. Good luck!!

Jenn you're going to have the most amazing wedding! I know it's so close you can taste it and you're starting get anxious. FM me if you'd like, I may have info that can help on the tax refund check schedule.
I'm curious re: those ceremony hidden charges. If you'd like and since we're sister's in hall I can pull up my contract and tell you know if they also neglected to let me know.
