Boooooy am I clueless about Tuxedo's!!! My FH did research and took me to go look at his top choices and I realized how little I know about Tuxedos ... it was kind of funny!
Question -
Is/did your FH wear the same color vest as the rest of the bridal party ????
Ahhhh thanks so much for your help ladies .... so I now know the groom should match my dress.
So my new question is -
Can I have the 2 groomsman and the 2 Dads in matching vests ????
Or do the Dad's need to me in a separate color also?

no - dh wore ivory vest and tie to match my dress.
guys wore black vest and black bow tie.
dads wore grey vest and grey bowtie b/c we wanted to set apart the dads from the rest of the guys.

no, your hubby should stand out from the guys in the BP... and match you my DH wore an ivory vest and tie to match me the guys wore a burgandy vest and tie to match the girls in the BP the fathers and my brother wore a black/charcoal vest and tie so whatever their wives wore would match

Nope, the Groom should stand out from the rest of the GM.
DH wore a black vest (that's what he wanted, I wanted him in white) GM wore silver vests to match the BM's shoes
Don't worry about being clueless, this is really one area you don't have to take charge of. Let your FH pick everything out along with the help of the guy at the tux shop.
