Last night DH noticed that her toe was swollen. we thought it was a cut that got infected and we cleaned it up and off to sleep she went... This morning it did not llok any better so I called the Dr and got an appt and when i saw him he said that she had a ahir imbedded around her toe.. he had not seen something like nthis in over 4 years. So he called a pediatric surgeon and we wen tot the hospital and waited for him to remove the hair.. boy did she cry.. i hurt for her.. now she is sleping in her car seat and hopefully she will be all better....

OMG! Poor Jillian!
I have heard about a 'hair tourniquet' but never having to have it surgically removed
A long hair can get trapped in the feet of their sleepers for example and get wrapped around their little toes causing discomfort.... but poor Jillian!

I actually have seen fingers and toes that have to get amputated because of hair tourniquets! Very scary!
