We were there for about 3 hours last night. We met with our MD who is going to be George. He was really nice. For the cocktail hour we picked out a bunch of stations, including the Seafood Station (which includes Shrimp, Clams, and Oysters), Vodka/Martini Bar (FH and I really wanted this!!), Duck station, Meditteranean Station, and a bunch of others I can't remember right now.

We also added an appetizer before the salad and dinner and for entree selections we added some additional choices and I ended up getting the full vienesse desert cafe.

I really can't wait! It's going to be so beautiful!!!

I also visited with my banquet manager over the weekend and was also very excited. The waterfall looks great! I was also thrilled to see the silk arrangements in the cocktail hour that they didn't have when I booked back in October. Thay are really nice, so you don't even need any flowers for the cocktail hour. Also there has been a debate with the NRC cakes and I dont think it's fair to go by some of the previous cake pictures, remember those are what those brides and grooms chose, they wanted a textured looking cake (which in my opinion didn't work with their icing) I would definitely suggest going with a smooth finished cake and design it with fresh flowers.
