Just came home from a doctor...

I thought I was going to be all patched up by next week, but, I am not! It turns out I have another 3 weeks that I have to stay off my leg!

The scary part is that in three weeks I am going to Israel for my brothers wedding. On that Monday! What will I do if it still doesn't heal? Go on crutches to the airport???

I am so upset!

Oh hon, I am so sorry. Doctors are doctors for a reason, if he says three weeks then as long as you follow their instruction, you should be good to go. I can't imagine how frustrating this must be though!

Do yourself a favor and stay off your feet as much as possible.. the more you stress it the worse you'll feel. And even if you feel good, give it more time.

I went to the doc for a back problem years ago and in an x-ray of my lower back, he found literally a hole in my left femur! He put me right on crutches until my surgery the day after Christmas to see what was or wasn't there. After surgery I went to a huge event in Boston and my friends got me a wheelchair so I wasn't on my feet the whole time and in agony - and we had a blast!!! It was so fun - we were running people over and trading places in the chair.

My point is, a wheelchair isn't so bad if it'll help and you can have fun with it too.

But feel better and relax Everything will work out fine and you'll have a great time at your brother's wedding

Stay off it and relax! That way you should be healed to go to Israel for the wedding. Here's to an even speedier recovery for you!

Look at the bright side - wheelchair bound persons board the plane FIRST and get special treament.
