Just checked the extended forecast and it is supposed to rain Friday night, be sunny/cloudy Saturday and rain again at night . Think it will really rain for a whole entire week? Let's pray we get some sun and nice weather

trust me - it will completely change by the time 6/10 rolls around. the forecast changed for my wedding about 50 times the week beforehand.

oh nooooo!!!
It rained on my e-party, it rained on my shower, tonights my bachelorette party - raining... my wedding is on the 17th - my stepmother keeps telling me its not a good sign...

Actually I thought that it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. I could be wrong though

Try not to worry about it- I told myself that I wasn't going to tet the weather bother me and then the week of I was freaking out every day because it was going to rain but in the end it all worked out. It rained on and off all day and even though I was somewhat disapointed it was nice for the ceremony and in the end it didn't take anything away from the day.

Just be prepared in case it does rain. Dont stress it - theres nothing that you can do to change mother nature.

This is what i keep worrying about too and im just mentally preparing myself for it. You know what- it might s*ck but theres NOTHING you can do. Please try and be happy. I know someone who cried so much the AM of her wedding b/c of rain that her eyes looked puffy all day and she just looked miserable. SHE ruined her wedding day, not the rain

We're in the same boat... almost. I'm on Sunday the 11th.
Yeah, it's bummer but no use worrying because we can't change it anyway, and who needs even more stress on their wedding day? Not us! And the forecast might change, it usually does 10 days out. Heck, it changes 3 days out.
Look at today, they said rain all day. I don't know about you but I haven't seen rain yet. Only mistiness and fog. That makes for some WONDERFUL pictures!
You may not know this but overcast days are actually better for pictures. The shadows aren't stark like they are in full sun, and colors are more vibrant.
So I'm actually hoping for an overcast or partly sunny day because we will be taking our pictures between 11am and 12pm; probably the worst time to take them, with the sun directly overhead. It doesn't make for flattering shadows.
And DEFINITELY get two umbrellas at least! I bought matching umbrellas at Jones NY just for this reason. We'll probably use them even if it doesn't rain, they're cute.

Check the forecast now, it says Saturday and Sunday are going to be sunny with a 20% chance of precipitation.
I like this forecast better. But it just goes to show ya.

When my brother got married it was constant ,non-stop, down pour with thundering and lightening. Plus he had an outdoor tent wedding. It was at the bride's house and the tent was at the bottom of a hill. So all the rain and mud ran into the tent. The bottom of the bride's dress was covered in mud. I was a bridesmaid and my shoes were covered in mud that I ended up throwing them out. We had to move some of the tables because of the mud. But everyone had a great time. Three years later people are still talking about how great of a wedding it was. We just got to the point where we didn't care and let it bother us. We all had a great time.
So everyone is right we can't control the weather. IF it does rain there is nothing we can do about it. We can't let it bother us. We are going to have a perfect and magical wedding anyway. If it does rain just think of the day my brother had for his wedding. I am sure it can't be worse than that.
