HOw long did you all wait after your weddings to have children?

We waited about 6 months. We tried for almost a year before being successful! BTW, I was/am 31, so that played a big role in our decision.

We started casually trying this month-so I guess 3 months after.

2 years after the wedding. We've been together for over 10 years as well... Our age played a huge factor. I was only 25 when I got married so to me that was young and I had plenty of time. I am now pregnant at 28 with our first child.

weve been married for 17 months...and we haven't really started trying yet...

but I am turning 30 this month ...so I am sure that this will play a factor soon

We got PG 8 months after the wedding. We only tried 1 month. We've also been together 10.5 years and we are both 26 now. 25 when we got PG, 24 when we got married.

We have been married for 9 months. I am 30 so we want to start trying next year. If I was a little younger I probably would have wanted to wait a little longer.

3 months. We got pregnant the first try. Both DH and I are 36. We would like to have 2 or 3 children, so we figured we better start trying. We didn't expect it to happen so soon!
