I haven't though we've wanted to...
I will tell you something...I don't know what your circumstances are...But my friend was 'let go' from a BP with no explanation...The girl just stopped talking to her...
If you are going to do it, do it gracefully...Even the crappiest people have feelings...And you as a person should try to respect that...

Not 'kicked out' but we both mutually agreed it was best for her not to be in my bridal party due to the fact that she --- now let me jump into my flame retardant suit --- got pregnant. There's alot more to the story, but we --knowing our families (she's my cousin) and NOT knowing how her pregnancy would go -- knew it was for the best.

Re: JUST CURIOUS
I asked someone to step out of my bridal party. She was causing me a lot of stress and demanded a lot of special treatment. She imposed on people in terms of paying for her dress, shoes, etc.
As I was deciding that I didn't want her in my party anymore, she called to tell me that my shower (which was a surprise up until then) was ruining her birthday weekend and I was selfish.
So I BOOTED her!

Re: JUST CURIOUS
I told my sister that not only was she no longer my MOH, but if her attitude continued in the direction it was (and she was making me and FH miserable) that she would not be invited to the wedding.
My sister is very status-conscious and never really liked FH (so therefore, does/did not approve of the marriage). She would try to pick fights with FH in wicked and vain attempts to try to sabatoge our relationship. Well it didn't work. I saw right through her and I told her that she needs to grow up. Just because she is family does not make her right. So she's out and luckily it was enough of a wake up call to get her to cool off enough to have her presence tolerated at the wedding.

No, but its quite possible one might step out before the dresses are bought - I am almost sure of this. $$$ issues. She was only asked out of obligation anyway so I dont care!

Re: JUST CURIOUS
I had a bridesmaid leave. She is one of my fiancee's best friends and a few weeks ago, she dropped out. She is moving to Florida and used that as an excuse. Her husband is still in my fiancee's party though. Very strange and hurtful to my fiancee, who she has yet to contact, despite the fact that he has been friends with her and her husband for ten years!
If you are unhappy with a BM, as long as you do it nicely, I think you can ask her to leave. Just know that it may effect your relationship forever.
