Marrying a Sgt of the NYPD 12/15. Also grew up in cop family, Grandfather, Father, brother and brother in law .

I'm marrying a NYC police officer 10/12. My father is a retired detective, quite a few uncles and cousins are cops, and firemen.

my dad and his brother, and his father, and my cousin are all police, but county not city (except for the cousin). FH is a volunteer firefighter on the island, not anywhere near as intense as the NYFD, but still scary sometimes.

My husband is a NYPD sergeant, as is my dad. My SIL is a police officer in the NYPD.
Today, Sept 11th, is also my husband's 30th birthday.

My FI is a ny police officer. He will become a srgt. on the 27th. my 1 brother is a NYC court officer and the other is a correction office. My FI father is a retired FDNY. I am proud of all of them!!

NOt me but I have cousins, uncles, and fathers in both the fire dept and police dept.

Wow, that's a lot of Finest and Bravest!! My dad is retired after 30 years of working in the NYPD. He retired at liuetenant and worked the 73rd, 75th, 83rd and 69th precints. Have any of your hubby's worked in those areas??.....
