2 years, 7 1/2 months. It would have been a lot quicker but I was waiting for my mom to get well, and for a long time after she passed away I couldn't even think about planning a wedding w/o her.

I am so close to the 7th month mark, I can't wait! I am counting down to the 6 month mark. I feel like time will seriously fly after that!

Our engagement was 15 months. In my opinion, that was MUCH too long! But, we were planning from so far away and we thought we would need the extra time. If only I had known then what I know now...

2 months 2 years. But like a lot of the brides here. we are paying for a lot of it ourselves. My mom has also been ill and hopefully she will be able to walk by then.

I don't know how people can plan in under a year (my sister did 8 months)...everything books so quickly in this area...
