I feel that being a younger woman - when I go places, people talk to me like I am slow or something.....like I wont understand what they are telling me.....meanwhile, I am a very intelligent and educated person. It drives me CRAZY!!!! Please tell me if you girls experience this!! And that it is not Just me!!!
when i talk about my cars when i go to have it fixed or anything with guys they look like i dont know anything but--- i used to work for car dealers and i come right out and tell them dont try to pull one over on me i will know (plu my ex was a auto tech) i know more about cars than my FH does lol and he admits it too so its just not you some people are just jerks!
Same here man!!! I had a guy do an inspection and he ran my car for like 3.5 hours (half of my gas was gone) with the air conditioning on (was still on when I got into the car) and told me it wouldnt pass emissions and that I would need to run a $300 test just to find the problem.....umm...took my car somewhere else and all I needed was a couple of spark plugs - $20 later, my car was fine!!! Jerks!
Actually I feel like medical professionals talk to me like I know nothing. So, when I have a medical or dental issue, I usually have to start the conversation by saying that I am a physical anthropologist who studies human bones and teeth...automatically the caliber of the conversation changes.
