Just Curious....

I know this is Long Island Weddings but I am noticing a lot of Queens people just curious where everyone is from. Queend or LI? Sorry I have a paper to type but LIW is just SOOO much better!! FIgured I'd start a thread!
I am from Woodside Queens myself but moved to bayside with my family in 1999.

Brooklyn!!! Edited to add: I grew up in a small town near Rochester. Moved here 2 years ago, and love it! You'd have to drag me kicking and screaming to get me to leave!

Long Island now, Glendale Queens for a while and raised in Valley Stream. I do miss Queens and my friends there.

Grew up in Suffolk, then lived in Nassau, then manhattan, now queens and in July, moving to massapequa!

Ya know what I just understand... aren't Brooklyn and Queens part of Long Island? Is there a river that separates them from Nassau and Suffolk? I guess growing up on the East End the reason was never explained to me... SOMEONE HELP ME!
